During the 2025 World Health Assembly week, GWL Voices and PMNCH will host a special side event to launch the Spotlight on Women in Global Health, part of its flagship Women in Multilateralism 2025 report.

This new Spotlight was developed as part of Women in Multilateralism 2025 to underscore the vital importance of women’s leadership in global health—and to expose the ongoing lack of gender parity at the highest levels, even in fields dedicated to women's health.

Among the key speakers will be Ms. Helen Clark, GWL Voices Co-Founder and Member & member of PMNCH; Dr. Flavia Bustreo, GWL Voices member; Rajat Khosla, PMNCH Executive Director; Revati Phalkey, United Nations University Institute of Global Health (UNU-IIGH) Director; and Magda Robalo, Women in Global Health Executive Director who will be moderating the conversation.

They will highlight key findings from the report, share lessons from governance reform efforts, and discuss how upcoming leadership transitions in global health offer a crucial opportunity for advancing gender equality. The opening remarks will be made by Ms. Katherine Urbaez, from the Geneva Diplomacy Alliance.

✨ Together, GWL Voices continues to push for leadership that truly reflects the world it serves.
