Our Financial Statements

Since its inception, GWL Voices has been committed to responsible stewardship of resources entrusted by donors and partners, with an emphasis on transparency, accountability and sustainability, ensuring that all resources are used effectively to advance our mission of building a gender-equal international system, placing women's rights and transformative power at the center, while promoting women's leadership in multilateralism.

GWL Voices' track record in this regard includes the following highlights:

  • NGO renewal 2024. NGOsource, a project of the Council on Foundations and TechSoup, helps U.S. donors streamline international giving. NGOsource simplifies the task of evaluating whether a non-U.S. organization is equivalent to a U.S. charity. This process is known as anequivalency determination or “ED,” and makes the process easier and more efficient for both the U.S. donor and the foreign grantee.
  • Financial statements in accordance with Spanish law.
  • Clean audit opinion and independent audits of the 2022 and 2023 financial statements.

Grants are received with the understanding that our integrity and independence will not be compromised.

We collaborate with diverse organizations and networks, allowing us to operate on a modest annual budget.
