New Cohort of Her Turn Rapporteurs for the Her Turn Harvest & the Candidates Debate

Share

GWL Voices welcomes the selected Her Turn Rapporteurs for the Her Turn Harvest, an initiative developed in collaboration with the United Nations Foundation and co-hosted by the Geneva Graduate Institute in Switzerland.

This cohort brings together a diverse group of students and emerging leaders from all continents, who will contribute to documenting, synthesizing, and amplifying the discussions taking place across the Her Turn initiative in preparations for the Candidates Debate in Geneva on June 9th. Their role is central to ensuring that key insights, recommendations, and reflections are captured and translated into actionable ideas.

The Her Turn Harvest is a youth engagement designed to prepare students for the Candidates Debate on the future of UN leadership. This program consists of four preparatory online sessions, and three in-person events.

The four online sessions are as follows:

  • Launch Session

These sessions aim to equip students with the knowledge and perspectives necessary to develop the Her Turn Decalogue for the Next Secretary-General, a forward-looking set of priorities and policy recommendations. Participants will collaborate on proposals, engage in peer review, and contribute to a collective youth brief ahead of the debate.

The three in-person sessions will include:

  • Her Turn Lab, where participants will finalize the Decalogue
  • The Candidates Debate
  • Launch of the Decalogue, where students will have the opportunity to share their work to the public

We welcome this new cohort of Rapporteurs and look forward to their contributions:
