As members of GWL Voices, we are deeply alarmed by the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, where civilians—especially women, girls, and children—bear the brunt of the conflict.

Across the region, families are enduring displacement, acute shortages of food, water, and medical services, and the loss of homes and communities. In many areas, the population is now confronting famine-level conditions.

We urgently call on Israel and all relevant parties to:

  1. Guarantee safe and unimpeded humanitarian access to every person in need.
  2. Immediately implement a ceasefire to prevent further civilian casualties and alleviate suffering.
  3. Release all remaining hostages and undertake prisoner exchange.
  4. Return to good-faith negotiations, in line with UN resolutions, to pursue a fair and enduring two-state solution.

We affirm that there is no military solution to this conflict. Only through respectful dialogue, full respect for international law, and earnest dedication to peace can this cycle of violence be broken.

As women leaders, we urge a response that prioritizes civilian protection, honors human dignity, and sets the foundation for sustainable peace.
