A Roadmap for Peace, Human Rights and Sustainable Development
Spain marks ten years of the 2030 Agenda with a high-level event exploring its role as a foundation for peace, democracy, human rights and sustainable development. The session will highlight how a feminist, rights-based and climate-just approach is essential to advancing the SDGs in a rapidly shifting global landscape.
Susana Malcorra, President & Co-Founder of GWL Voices, former UN Chief of Staff, and former Foreign Minister of Argentina will speak in the first roundtable, focusing on the SDGs as a roadmap for peace, democratic governance and human rights. Her intervention will emphasize the critical importance of women’s leadership and gender equality as drivers of international stability and sustainable development.
The event will open with remarks from the Minister for Foreign Affairs and close with the Secretary of State for International Cooperation.
