GWL Voices Dialogue 2026 – Women Leading the UN of the 21st Century

Share

GWL Voices Dialogue 2026 “Women Leading the UN of the 21st Century” brings together a select group of global leaders, experts, and advocates at a critical moment for multilateralism. Structured around three interconnected clusters, the Dialogue will examine today’s geopolitical crises and their impact on international cooperation; the future of the United Nations through the implementation of the Pact of the Future and the UN80 reform agenda; and the urgent need for renewed leadership and women’s representation at the highest levels. Held as an invitation-only Dialogue under the Chatham House Rule, the event is designed to foster frank, high-level exchanges in a trusted setting, enabling participants to engage openly on some of the most pressing challenges facing the multilateral system.

At its core, the 2026 Dialogue seizes a historic opportunity: advancing women’s leadership to revitalize the legitimacy and effectiveness of the UN. With the launch of the 2026 Women in Multilateralism Report and a focused dialogue on the path toward a Madam Secretary-General, GWL Voices places women at the center of peacebuilding, governance reform, and global decision-making. As the UN approaches its 80th anniversary, this Dialogue aims to help shape a multilateral system fit for the 21st century—one where women lead, parity is non-negotiable, and global cooperation is rebuilt on trust, accountability, and shared responsibility.
