Join GWL Voices and WAGGGS at CSW 2025 for an intergenerational discussion on the state of female leadership, the persistent barriers women and girls face, and the actions needed to drive lasting change.

Marking Beijing+30, this session highlights the ongoing disparities in representation at all levels—only 26 countries are led by women, and 113 have never had a female head of state. Despite progress, systemic obstacles still limit girls' access to leadership, with 122 million out of school and growing pushback against their aspirations. This conversation will explore the policies and strategies needed to build a sustainable pipeline for female leadership worldwide.
