Women Pioneering Global Leadership

This event will take place on 22 September at 11:00am at the SDG Zone, featuring GWL Voices founders and Board Members Ms. Irina Bokova, Ms. Helen Clark, and Ms. Susana Malcorra, in conversation with Raj Kumar, President & Editor-in-Chief at Devex.

This high-level dialogue will explore how inclusive leadership contributes to more just, sustainable, and effective outcomes across all SDGs, while spotlighting the urgent need for gender balance in top leadership roles across the international system—most importantly, in the upcoming 2026 selection of the next UN Secretary-General. Sharing personal insights and lessons from past UNSG campaigns, the speakers will reflect on what must change for history to be made in 2026, setting the stage for a deeper discussion at the Ford Foundation on 24 September.
