Former UN Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights, Kate Gilmore is Chair of the Women Deliver Board, Vice Chair of the Board for Interpeace, co-Chair of the WHO Gender and Human Rights Advisory Panel on Human Reproduction, a member of the WHO Immunization Agenda 2030 Partnership Panel and a member of GWL Voices.
Previously Chair of the IPPF Board and a Visiting Fellow with University of Pennsylvania Perry World House, she has been a Professor-in-Practice with the International Development Department of the London School of Economics (LSE) and an Honorary Professor with the Human Rights Centre at the University of Essex. She is a past Fellow with Harvard University’s Carr Centre for Human Rights Policy and was Deputy Executive Director/Programme with the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) and earlier, Executive Deputy Secretary General of Amnesty International.
