Ms. Jessie Rose Mabutas has over thirty-nine years of experience in the United Nations system, national government, and the private sector at senior and executive management levels. She served as Director of External Audit of the UN Board of Auditor from 1991 to 1994; appointed as Assistant President for Finance and Administration at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in 2007 and became the first woman Assistant Executive Director for Finance and Administration of the World Food Programme (WFP) in 2001. Prior to these posts, she was Director at the Office of the USG for Management at the UN Secretariat, at the Office of Audit and Performance Review at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and at the Finance and Information Technology and the Internal Audit Division of WFP. She also was a member of the Audit and Risk Committees of UNICEF and WFP.
She is a member of the Accreditation Panel of the Adaptation Fund since 2018, a member of the Panel of Experts at the Office of the Auditor-General of the Asian Development Bank since 2015, and a non-regional member of the Executive Board of the African Capacity Building Foundation and Chairs the Audit and Risk Committee of the Board since 2015.
