HER TURN Leadership Lab | From Principles to Practice: Designing the Next Generation of Multilateral Leadership

Share
During the UN General Assembly High-Level Week, GWL Voices and Columbia SIPA will convene students, young leaders, and distinguished international policymakers for the HER TURN Leadership Lab, an intergenerational dialogue on the future of multilateral leadership.
Building on the HER TURN Decalogue (ten principles for inclusive global leadership for the next United Nations Secretary-General) the event will explore how these ideas can be translated into concrete action. Following a high-level discussion with global leaders, participants will engage in an interactive leadership lab where young people will work alongside experienced practitioners to develop practical recommendations for strengthening multilateral governance.
By placing students at the center of the conversation, the event aims to connect research, policy, and leadership, empower the next generation to contribute to global decision-making, and produce actionable ideas for building more inclusive, accountable, and future-oriented international institutions.
